A bit of an odd one for me to describe, so someone might need to bring back the ghost of bugrach to check out my user area.

I'm struggling with using quotations. When I highlight the text and then press the speech marks button it doesn't always work, sometimes I have to come out of the topic and then post it again.

Also, I have to make sure all the text I want is on the post before selecting the section I want to quote, because if I make a quotation at the start of the post and then try and type underneath it afterwards it doesn't allow it.

The latter part is something I've experienced too - it doesn't seem possible to add a blank line to the page without it adding to the quote box instead. Not experienced the first part though - does it do anything at all when you click?

What I tend to do is hit return three times then go to the middle line, type everything in, then highlight and use quotes. Bit of a faff but it's this weird habit I've got into doing for all message boards. The last thing I've experienced, the first thing not. Maybe it's a browser thing.....

Sometimes it doesn't work (E.G. In my current free music to download post). Other times I have to refresh the page.

As for the rest, I've got in to the same habit of putting everything in a post and then doing the quotations last.

Just to double check, which browser are you using?

I have the same thing on both Opera 10 and IE8. I think it's just the way the rich text editor handles the quote box.
